Two Feathers Rides Again
Hi Dear Reader,
I’ve been busy this year, a lot has happened. I’ve been focusing on Western themes this year and painting from my imagination instead of photos. Go to my Western section and see my paintings. On the home front, life has been busy! I’ve made 3 – 4×4′ square foot garden beds, and the plants are starting to come up. I’ve made a compost pile, and I’m working on a chicken coop. In another 4 to 5 months we should start getting home grown fresh eggs. Now if we can just keep those pesky raccoons out of the hen house, foxes too.
In the near future I plan on going by the local conservation department, and painting a cougar they have. I’m still trying to decide what setting to put it in. It migrated to with in 20 miles of my home from the Nebraska / South Dakota area. Do I put it in a South Dakota setting? Or a Missouri setting? If you want to know the answer to that question, you’ll just have to wait and see for yourself. I don’t even know the answer to that question, but I know which way I’m leaning.
I know it’s been a long long time between posts. I have Wildblue Satelite internet at home and it is so slow and so frustrating, I can’t stand to use it. It takes 5 minutes, sometimes longer to open one page, and then half the data is gone. On Monday I’m switching to a different ISP and I’m hoping it will be much faster and not so frustrating. If it works as well as I hope, I’ll will start writing my blog again.
Until next time, have fun painting!
Donald
